Privacy Policy

This policy explains how ipark.today collects and uses personal data. We collect as little as possible: guests never create an account.
Data we collect
Venue staff
- Email address and login details (or Google sign-in profile).
- Venue name, type, plan and settings.
- Billing records (handled by our payment provider; we never see full card numbers).
Guests (entered by the venue)
- License plate, vehicle make/model and colour.
- Optional mobile phone number, used only to text the ticket link and a “car ready” message.
- Ticket timestamps (parked, requested, ready, delivered).
- Tip and fee payment status (card details go directly to the payment provider).
Technical data
Basic logs (IP address, browser type) for security and to keep the Service running.
How we use it
- To run the valet service: issue tickets, show status, process requests and payments.
- To send the transactional texts described above. We never send marketing texts to guests.
- To provide support, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.
Legal bases (where GDPR applies): contract performance for venues; the venue's legitimate interest in operating valet for guests; consent for optional text messages.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service (hosting, database, payment processing, SMS delivery), under contracts that protect it, and when required by law.
Retention
Guest ticket data is kept for the venue's records and reporting and deleted when the venue deletes it or closes its account. Guest phone numbers can be removed on request. Account data is deleted within 30 days of account closure, except billing records we must keep for tax purposes.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Ticket links use long random codes, and access to venue data is restricted to that venue's signed-in staff.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to processing. Guests may contact the venue or us directly.
Cookies
We use only essential storage needed for sign-in. Guests' ticket pages set no tracking cookies.
